St. John’s offers two Sunday School classes for children:
2 YEARS OLD THROUGH 5TH GRADE
GRADE 6 THROUGH COLLEGE AGED STUDENTS
Both groups gather for Chapel at 9:30 AM each Sunday for a “mini” worship service which includes singing, prayer, scripture and offering. The children then split into two groups for their respective Sunday School classes from 9:45 AM-10:45 AM.
Welcome back as we begin our 2019/20 season. If you have not been participating in the Adult Forum, this is a good time to start.
We gather in the Trinity Room each Sunday morning for challenging and informative programs. After sharing coffee and fellowship at 9:30, we share joys and concerns. We begin the program at 9:45. Below is a description of upcoming programs. Please join us!
November 24 Part 2 of “Divided We Fall”
December 1 Our annual inter-generational Advent Breakfast! After eating, adults will make wreathes for shut-ins, while children go to pageant practice.
December 8 Pastor Emily will lead a Bible study on the day’s devotion from The Stilllspeaking Writer’s Group 2019 Advent/Epiphany Devotional. It is titled, “Protect the Herd.”
December 15 Bill Falla will begin a two-week Bible study entitled “Mr. Handel’s Christmas.” “we will explore some of the bible verses used by Handel in the Christmas section of “The Messiah.”
December 22 Bill Falla will do the second part of his Bible study.
